ICompare Solicitors Consumer Terms of Sale.
Please read carefully before placing your order and retain a copy of these terms and your order for future reference.
1. Format of the Contract
1.1 These terms of sale apply to all services supplied by ICompare Solicitors.
1.2 No contract exists between you and the Supplier for the sale of any services until the Supplier has received and accepted your order.
1.3 Acceptance of your offer to buy our services will be sent shortly after your order usually within 24 hours subject to work capacity. However, we do have the right to terminate the contract in the event that the services are unavailable, mis-priced or cleared funds are not received. Delivery of our service will be via the web and will be uploaded into our website www.icomparesolicitors.co.uk .
1.4 The contract is subject to your right of cancellation (see below).
1.5 The Supplier may change these terms of sale without notice to you in relation to future sales.
2. Description and price of the services
2.1 The description and price of the services you order will be as shown on the Supplier´s website at the time you place your order.
2.2 Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown on the Supplier´s website are accurate at the time you place your order. If an error is found within 14 days of accepting your order, the Supplier will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling your order. If the Supplier does not receive an order confirmation within 14 days of informing you of the error, the order will be cancelled automatically. If you cancel the order, or if the order is cancelled automatically due to the expiry of the 14 day period, the Supplier will refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your card for the services.
2.3 In addition to the price, you may be required to pay an administration charge for services. You will be notified of this at the time of placing your order for services. VAT will be added at the prevailing rate at the time of purchase. Our Free solicitors website service to the public is provided to you on the understanding that an annual subscription to I compare solicitors is purchased from advertisers and subscribers at the cost agreed on the website. The website service will remain in force until such time your subscription to I compare solicitors.co.uk is cancelled by you or ourselves. Additional services will be charged as described in the website at the time of purchase.
3.1 Payment for the advertising services and subscription to our website I compare solicitors.co.uk can be made by any method shown on the Supplier´s website at the time you place your order and will be payable in UK sterling (pounds) unless otherwise agreed. Payment shall be due before the delivery date and time for payment shall be a fundamental term of this agreement, breach of which shall entitle the service provider to terminate the contract immediately.
3.2 There will be no delivery of services until cleared funds are received.
3.3 Payments shall be made by you without any deduction whatsoever unless you have a valid court order requiring an amount equal to such deduction to be paid by the Supplier to you.
3.4 Your service will be for a minimum of 12 months unless you specifically request in writing the 3 or 6 month option, For your convenience we will automatically renew your services at the end of the agreed term period unless you write to tell us otherwise at least 60 days before the renewal date. Once the Agreement has renewed you may end the service at any time after the renewal by giving us at least 60 days notice in writing. We will process these payments on your credit card or direct debit on the date of anniversary. For the avoidance of doubt, this shall be a fundamental term of this agreement.
3.5 In consideration of our provision of the service you shall pay to us the charges as follows:
(i) the set up fee (as written in the relevant Confirmation of Order) in advance
(ii) the 3 or 6 month (as written in the relevant Confirmation of Order) in advance, and
(iii) any other payments due to us for provision of the Service as given by us, all by the payment method selected by you and written in the confirmation of Order or on the relevant invoice sent to you by us. Where a credit card arrangement exists and if a termination or cancellation has not been received and if expiration date on a credit card occurs we reserve the right to automatically change the expiration date.
4.1 The services you order will be delivered to you electronically when you place your order. Once your order has been processed online and you have received your web confirmation.
Currently we are quoting 24 to 72 hours for services (this does not include weekends and Bank Holidays).
Once your order has been processed online and you have received your web confirmation, your card will be charged and within the delivery time scale as above your order will be processed your services chosen will be electronically uploaded into i compare solicitors website.
4.2 If service delivery cannot be made to you for reasons out of the Supplier´s control the Supplier will inform you as soon as possible.
4.3 If you fail to activate your services because you have cancelled your contract the Supplier shall refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your card for the services. On exercising your right to cancel you shall be required to return any information to the Supplier. Should you fail to return the information, the Supplier reserves the right to deduct any direct costs incurred by the Supplier in retrieving the information as a result of such failure.
4.4 Every effort will be made to deliver the services as soon as possible after your order has been accepted. However, the Supplier will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. In this case, the Supplier will inform you as soon as possible.
5. Your right of cancellation
5.1 You have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to 7 days after you receive the services (see below). Please note that this policy has some limitations.
5.2 To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to the Supplier by hand, post or email, giving details of the services ordered and (where appropriate) their delivery and activation. Notification by phone is not sufficient.
5.3 If you exercise your right of cancellation after the services have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning any information to the Supplier at your own cost (see above 5.)
5.4 Once you have notified the Supplier that you are cancelling the contract, the Supplier will refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the services.
5.5 You do not have the right to cancel the contract if the order is for computer software which has been unsealed, activated or accessed by you, or for digital services which, by their nature, cannot be returned, save where a fault is discovered which could not have been discovered otherwise than by activating or accessing the services.
6. Support and Advice
We offer free software and website support services as part of the original purchase agreement for a limited time of two months from the date of purchasing our services.
7. Refunds Policy
